Colin
Farrell's Struggle Working With Woody Allen
12/20/07
Colin Farrell took offence to Woody Allen's directing style on new film
Cassandra's Dream - deeming his approach to moviemaking too demanding.
The Irish actor plays a brother to Ewan McGregor's character in the
movie, which was shot in Spain and made its worldwide debut at the Venice
Film Festival in August (07).
And though the film has been tipped for success, Farrell found it a
struggle to make.
He says, "I remember once saying, 'Can I get another take?' And he
(Allen) said, 'If you think you can do it better.' And he wasn't being a
smartass. He meant it.
"I said, 'No, it's fine, actually.' I felt stupid. It was too much
pressure."
