The Real Housewives of Orange County Star Arrested for Violating Probation 12/22/07

Baseball player-turned-reality TV star Matt Keough has been arrested on suspicion of violating his probation by drinking at a bar in Newport Beach, California.

The 52-year-old Real Housewives Of Orange Country star was reportedly picked up by police when officers found him drinking in a Marriott Hotel bar on Tuesday (18Dec07).

Keough admitted driving under the influence in 2005 - part of his probation for that offence was a ban on consuming alcohol.

Police spokesperson Lt. Steve Koudelka says, "The officers recognized him.

They know he's not supposed to have alcohol and they arrested him. Even a sip of alcohol would be enough to violate his probation."

During his baseball career, Keough played with the New York Yankees, the Oakland Athletics, the Chicago Cubs and the Houston Astros before retiring from the sport in 1986.
