JK Rowling Revisits Harry Potter Flat for TV Special  12/24/07

J.K. Rowling has revisited her Edinburgh, Scotland flat where she penned the Harry Potter novels for a new TV special.

In the show, to be aired next Sunday (30Dec07) in the U.K., the author is shown back at the home in which she spent years as a struggling writer.

And Rowling admits she was shocked to see the flat's new owners have copies of her Potter novels displayed on bookshelves in her lounge.

She tells viewers, "For years now, I've felt that if it all disappeared - and some days I do feel like, 'Is it real?' - then this is where I'd come back to.

"And if I'd known that 10 years on I'd come back with a film crew and there'd be my published books on someone else's bookcases in this room - that is really incredible to me."
