Eva Longoria Goes to War With Neighbors at Christmas  12/24/07

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and her new husband have declared a Christmas war on their neighbors in San Antonio, Texas.

The newlyweds have gone overboard with their holiday decorating after realizing neighbors hire experts to light up their homes for the festive season.

The actress says, "It is like beat the Joneses because our neighbors lit their house up, but had it professionally lit. It's not like they went and put up the Christmas lights.

"So Tony's like, `Well I want lights,' so then we went and called the company and they came and put up our lights - and our lights aren't quite as bright, so we called the company back and we were like, 'Our lights aren't as bright as our neighbors!'"
