Miley Cyrus Star of Disney's 'Hannah Montana' to Take Over SIRIUS Satellite Radio Music Channel

'Miley Radio!' to air December 28th through January 1st

NEW YORK, Dec. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Miley Cyrus, star of Disney Channel's Hannah Montana, will take time out of her sold out US tour to take over Sirius Satellite Radio's (Nasdaq: SIRI) Hits 1 channel. The pop sensation will play her favorite songs, share stories and countdown the year's top 45 pop songs. Miley Radio! will premiere December 28th at 12 pm ET and run through January 1st on SIRIUS Hits 1 channel 1.

Miley Radio! will feature Miley Cyrus counting down the 45 biggest pop songs in North America in a year-end edition of SIRIUS Hits 1 Weekend Countdown. Miley will also host special editions of Hit-Bound, SIRIUS Hits 1's show that uncovers artists and songs that are poised to be the next big thing; and Best of Live Earth Countdown, a recount of the most memorable moments from Live Earth. Miley will also share her personal stories and favorite songs throughout Miley Radio!.

Miley Cyrus, daughter of country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus, became an overnight sensation as the breakout star of Disney Channel's hit series Hannah Montana. In 2007, Miley embarked on the "Best of Both Worlds" tour performing as both herself and Hannah Montana. Tickets for the 54 city North American tour sold out in record time.
