Lindsay Lohan's Leggings Are A Hit 12/8/08

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has managed to defy the global economic downturn - her new line of leggings have sold out in boutiques across the world.

The Mean Girls star launched the 6126 collection this summer (08) and the products which range in price from $44 (£30) to $132 (£90) have become bestsellers.

Jill Lowe, publicist for high-end Hollywood boutique Intuition, tells the New York Daily News, "They're blowing off the shelves." The leggings - which come in 35 different colors and patterns - are also said to have scored record sales in U.S. stores including Henri Bendel, Nordstrom, Intermix and Lisa Kline.
