Nicole Richie's Liposuction Horror  2/22/05

Reality TV star Nicole Richie has vowed to steer clear of liposuction, after viewing the procedure in person while filming her reality show The Simple Life Star. 

Richie and her best pal Paris Hilton worked in various jobs while traveling around north eastern America for the third installment of their hit show. 

She says, "I didn't think that I would be grossed out, 'cause I'm really never grossed out. And they had me as a person to keep this woman calm that was getting liposuction. She was awake, I actually thought that she would be asleep... 

"They asked me to keep her calm and so I'm standing there and the thing goes in and I start banging my head against the wall. I'm like, 'Oh my God! It's gross! It looks like orange juice!' And the doctor's like, 'Shhh!' "I couldn't lie to her. It was disgusting! I couldn't do the surgery. I asked but they said no."
