Sandra Bullock's Childhood Nightmare  2/23/05

Sandra Bullock has few fond memories of her childhood, because she was taunted and beaten up for being "awkward". The Speed star spent her early years as an outsider who was picked on by other kids for her fashion sense. 

She recalls, "I hated my whole childhood... There was no place for me. I was not accepted here. I was noticeably different. I was awkward. I was in the wrong clothes. "I would get the s**t kicked out of me constantly. My mother would be like, 'That's ridiculous. Why would anyone do that?' 

"Finally a guidance counsellor came to my house, and said, 'We have a problem. They are picking on her, and I don't know what to do about it.'"
