Midnight Ice Cream Feast Helps Vin Diesel Bulk Up  2/24/05

Vin Diesel scoffed a pint (0.57 litres) of ice-cream every night to help pile on extra weight for his role as real-life gangster Jack DiNorscio in upcoming movie Find Me Guilty. 

The XXX star found putting on weight such a tough task, he was forced to hire a trainer to help him bulk up in preparation for playing the chubby wise guy. The 37-year-old says, "It was a tough, tough job. I had to eat like a pint of ice-cream every night before I went to sleep. 

I was a bouncer for so many years and I always prioritised the physicality. This was the first experience where I was trying to gain weight." "I would walk around set with this big gut... There were a lot of people who didn't recognise me when I walked on the set. We did two hours of make-up every day. It was such an incredible experience."
