Tom Cruise's romance with Colombian model/actress Sofia Vergara looks set to get more serious - after she was spotted visiting the headquarters of the Scientology sect. The 32-year-old Latina beauty, who was raised a Catholic, looks set to join the mega-rich religion which Cruise has followed for 16 years, following her visit to the main centre in Los Angeles last Friday (25FEB05). 

Cruise's previous lovers Spanish actress Penelope Cruz and ex-wife Nicole Kidman are both believed to have refused to join the controversial sect. A source says, "She drove herself there in a green Range Rover and went inside. "Sofia had no known connection to scientology before meeting Tom, so it's a huge sign they are committed. "She was in there for a long while. "If she hasn't become a member already it looks like she's about it."
