Roseanne Barr Vindicated by George Clooney's Oscar Nominations  2/4/06

Comedienne Roseanne Barr feels vindicated by George Clooney's Academy Awards nominations, because she was furious when producers on her hit sitcom fired the hunky actor.

The Syriana actor played Roseanne's boss, Booker Brooks, during the show's first season - before producers decided to fire him.

Barr says, "I went to the producers and I said, 'What are you doing? This guy is gorgeous! He's going to be huge!' and they said, 'Nah, we're not that impressed.' Can you believe that?"
