Announces Two Weeks of "The Olympic Tonight Show" with Jay Leno

NBC'S OLYMPIC COVERAGE HEADS INTO LATE NIGHT WITH "THE OLYMPIC
TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO"
February, 6, 2006 -- BURBANK -- Beginning Monday, February 13, NBC will
present two weeks of special 90-minute late night programming entitled
"The Olympic Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Weekdays, the first
50-minutes of the special shows will feature Jay's nightly monologue and
celebrity interviews from "The Tonight Show" studio in Burbank,
as well as correspondents Tom Green, Ross the Intern and Kip ("Battle
of the Jaywalk All-Stars") reporting from Olympic sites in Torino and
Sestriere, Italy. The second half of the late night program will originate
from Torino. Late night Olympic coverage, hosted by Jim Lampley, will have
Olympic event programming, athlete interviews and coverage of the nightly
medals ceremonies from Piazza Castello. "The Olympic Tonight Show
with Jay Leno" will begin most nights at 12:05 am (EST), some nights
at 12:35 am (EST); see listings below.
On weekends, all of the late night Olympic coverage will originate in
Italy.
X Friday, February 10: This will be a regular show, but due to the
Opening Ceremonies of the 2006 Winter Olympics "The Tonight
Show" will begin at 12:35 am. Guests include actor Paul Walker,
Jillian Barberie and music by Fiona Apple
12:05 am, Monday, February 13: In-studio portion of the show guests
include actress Jennifer Love-Hewitt.
12:05 am, Tuesday, February 14: In-studio portion of the show guests
include comedian Paul Reiser.
12:05 am, Wednesday, February 15: In-studio portion of the show guests
include actor Matt Dillon and the 2006 Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Issue
cover model.
12:35 am, Thursday, February 16: TBD
12:05 am, Friday, February 17: In-studio portion of the show guests
include actor Samuel L. Jackson
