Cate Blanchett Avoids Photographers for Kids  2/11/06

Hollywood star Cate Blanchett is obsessed with evading the paparazzi, because she fears their presence will damage her relationship with her sons.

The Oscar-winning actress is keen for four-year-old Dashiell and one-year-old Roman to enjoy a normal childhood, and is desperate to stop her celebrity status affecting their social development.

She says, "They affect the chemistry of my interaction with the boys.
