Jessica Simpson Signs Yoga Mat to Help Fight Cancer  2/14/06

Yoga-loving pop star Jessica Simpson is offering fans a very special and spiritual gift for St Valentine's Day (14FEB06) - a signed yoga mat. 

The singer/actress has signed a YogaForce mat to benefit The Skin Cancer Foundation. The special piece of equipment went under the hammer on auction website eBay yesterday (13FEB06) and will go to the highest bidder when the sale ends today. Skin cancer survivor and YogaForce founder Anne E Appleby is the brains behind the quirky auction item. 

She says, "I am on a personal crusade to increase skin cancer awareness, and Jessica Simpson's star power has fuelled interest. "Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, is rising faster than that of any other cancer."
