BURBANK - February 15, 2006 - On Thursday, February 16, Olympic gold
medallist Shaun White, also known as "The Flying Tomato" (due to
his bushy red hair), will make his way to Burbank for his first late night
appearance since returning from the games on "The Olympic Tonight
Show with Jay Leno." White led a U.S. first and second place finish
in the men's half pipe competition on Saturday, February 11 and appeared
on the show via satellite on Monday, February 13. The 19-year-old boasts
several X-Games victories and will soon have his own snowboarding video
game.
"The Olympic Tonight Show with Jay Leno" continues its
special coverage of the 2006 games through February 24.
