Simon Cowell Upset Over Comments Airing on American Idol  2/15/06

American Idol judge Simon Cowell has lashed out at the show's producers on live TV for failing to tell him they would be leaving his sarcastic off-camera comments in the auditions footage for the new season.

The British music mogul has come under fire in America for making questionable remarks about overweight wannabes and gay and transgender contestants, which were all made in jest when Cowell thought the cameras had been turned off.

He told Fox morning show Good Day LA, "That's what's getting me into trouble... They left the cameras rolling."
