Michael Bublé "swings" into action on the "Dancing with
the Stars" results show, airing FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17 (8:00-9:00 p.m.,
ET) on the ABC Television Network. But wait, there's more! In a
"Dancing with the Stars" first, host Tom Bergeron will join
Master P's former partner, Ashly Delgrosso, in a heroic attempt at the
quickstep.
Setting hearts aflutter through his unique and refreshing
interpretation of such classics as "For Once in My Life" and
"The Way You Look Tonight," Michael Bubli is well on his way to
becoming the new king of swing. This week he serenades audiences on the
"Dancing with the Stars" stage with his rendition of "Save
the Last Dance for Me" from his latest album, "It's Time,"
as professional dancers Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska dance the cha cha.
He also accompanies professional dancers Nick Kosovich and Andrea Hale who
dance the foxtrot as he sings "Moondance" off his highly
successful sophomore album, "Come Fly with Me."
Not to be outdone, in a "Dancing with the Stars" exclusive,
host Tom Bergeron will lace up his dancing shoes and showcase his moves.
Bergeron has devoted weeks of intensive training to learning the
quickstep, and fully appreciates the hard work and dedication the
celebrities have undergone in order to pull off their routines. With
professional dancer Ashly Delgrosso by his side, we eagerly await his
debut performance.
Hosted by Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris, the "Dancing with the
Stars" results show airs Fridays from 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET and features
performances by music's hottest stars, as well as performances from the
hottest dance troupes and professional dancers, ranging from salsa to jive
to hip-hop.
Celebrities paired with professional dancers perform choreographed
routines on "Dancing with the Stars" Thursday nights and are
judged by a panel of dance experts -- renowned Ballroom Judge Len Goodman,
and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
The viewing public also weighs in by phoning in or voting online for
their favorite performers during the Thursday night performance shows.
Viewers may vote up to thirty minutes after the show ends. The judges'
scores and viewers' scores are combined, and the couple garnering the
lowest score is revealed during the results show by Friday evening's end
and eliminated from the competition. One couple is dismissed each Friday
until a winner is crowned Sunday, February 26.
This Friday the three finalists will be revealed, as one more couple is
eliminated. Tune in to find out who among the following contestants will
be sent home and who will dance their way into the finals:
STACY KEIBLER - WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) wrestler, and
partner/professional dancer Tony Dovolani.
DREW LACHEY - Recording artist and former member of the pop group 98
Degrees, and partner/professional dancer Cheryl Burke.
JERRY RICE - Three-time Super Bowl champ and considered by many to be
the greatest wide receiver to play in the NFL, and partner/professional
dancer Anna Trebunskaya.
LISA RINNA - Actress, entrepreneur and host of SOAPnet's "Soap
Talk," and partner/professional dancer Louis van Amstel, who returns
to the series from last season.
"Dancing with the Stars" is the U.S. version of the
international smash hit series, "Strictly Come Dancing." This
version is produced in America by BBC Worldwide. Richard Hopkins (UK) and
Conrad Green (USA) are executive producers. Izzie Pick is co-executive
producer. Alex Rudzinski directs. The program is broadcast with Spanish
audio via SAP. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
