Nick Lachey Demands Cash From Jessica Simpson  2/18/06

Movie star Jessica Simpson faces having to hand over jewelry and a substantial amount of her earnings to estranged husband Nick Lachey, according to divorce papers.

Lachey is reportedly seeking spousal support from the The Dukes of Hazzard beauty, although Simpson has filed a petition asking the court not to comply.

Lachey, 32, has requested "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects", a share of Simpson's earnings from after the point of separation and other assets.

Simpson, who filed for divorce on 16 December (05), reportedly earned in excess of $30 million  last year.
