Kate Moss and Charlize Theron Play Lesbians in Dusty Springfield Bio  2/21/06

Supermodel Kate Moss is stepping off the catwalk to star as Dusty Springfield's lesbian lover in a new screen biopic.

The project, directed by Brokeback Mountain mastermind Ang Lee, will see the 32-year-old play one of the singer's early loves, opposite Oscar-winning-actress Charlize Theron in the lead.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Kate's the ideal choice to play the love of Dusty's early life.

"She's beautiful, aloof and she epitomizes swinging London.

"Kate's character breaks Dusty's heart and sparks off the chain of tumultuous relationships that dogged her throughout life."

Springfield died in 1999 after losing her battle with breast cancer.
