Jake Gyllenhaal's Brokeback Mountain Shirt Sells for $101,000  2/21/06

The shirt BAFTA-winner Jake Gyllenhaal wore portraying gay cowboy Jack Twist in Brokeback Mountain has sold for $101,100 on auction website eBay.

The checked shirt went on sale earlier this month (FEB06) and sold late yesterday (20FEB06) to a mystery fan, using the cyber name hlywdstar, after 165 bids were placed.

The item's original bid was $9.99.

The proceeds from the shirt sale will benefit Variety - The Children's Charity of Southern California.
