Jessica Simpson Followed "Dumb" Newlyweds Script  2/21/06

Jessica Simpson is furious her reality show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica left her with a 'dumb blonde' image - because she was only following a script.

The actress - now newly single following her November (05) split from Nick Lachey - blames show bosses for making her look stupid.

She says, "People should know there was a script of sorts and I just played that role.

"I am nothing like that character."
