Will Smith Determined to Marry Hollywood and Bollywood  2/24/06

Actor Will Smith is so impressed by the prolific Indian film industry, he is calling for closer links between Hollywood and Bollywood.

The I, Robot star, who spent this week (ends24FEB06) in the south Asian nation, has been meeting with Bollywood producers and directors to discuss possible collaborations.

He insists Hollywood would gain by teaming up with the "beauty, color and depth of Indian cinema".

Smith enthuses, "I really feel there is a marriage to be made between Hollywood and Bollywood.

"I am meeting with these people to make artistic connections and come up with a new thing."
