George Clooney Too Racy for Politics 2/24/06

Movie star George Clooney insists he could never run for office - because his past is too debauched.

The screen heart-throb insists he could never follow in the footsteps of Terminator star turned California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He says, "I drank too much, did too many drugs. I have a great admiration for politicians.

"But I couldn't do what they do - which is that in order to do anything you want to accomplish, you have to make a lot of compromises.

"I am more stubborn than that. I would make a horrible politician."
