Paul Walker Warmed to Czech Republic  2/27/06

Eight Below star Paul Walker desperately wanted to film Running Scared in New Jersey and was furious when production was moved to the Czech Republic.

The actor signed up for the Wayne Kramer-directed movie and was thrilled it was filming in New Jersey, but soon found out it would be shot in Prague, Czech Republic, to save on production costs.

He explains, "I was so excited to film in New Jersey and then I found out we were going to Prague and I was like, 'Aw, man.'

"But then I thought about it for two seconds and said, 'Hey, isn't that where (model) Petra Nemcova is from?'

"There were lots of beautiful women. It wasn't so bad!"
