Desperate Dad Pens Letter to Lindsay Lohan  2/2/07

Lindsay Lohan's estranged father has attempted to reach out to his daughter in a letter sent from his jail cell to American weekly magazine In Touch.

Michael Lohan, who is serving time in New York for assault, is hoping to reconcile with his 20-year-old daughter when her rehab stint in Los Angeles is complete.

In the handwritten two-page letter, Lohan states, "I'm so proud of you of you in that you are taking back control of your life and putting it back on track, like God wants."
