Kevin
Federline Sorry for Super Bowl Ad
2/3/07
Britney
Spears' estranged husband Kevin Federline has issued an apology to
anyone who is offended by his upcoming Super Bowl ad where he stars as a
fast-food worker.
Federline was slammed by members of the US National Restaurant
Association last week (BEG29JAN07), who claimed the ad was insulting to
fast-food workers.
The 28-year-old insists he never meant to disparage anyone explaining,
"The commercial is completely intended for me, making fun of myself
and my own situation.
"It has nothing to do with anybody in the fast-food industry at
all. So, you know, if we've offended anybody, I'm really sorry about
that."
Federline appears in a 30-second spot for Nationwide Mutual Insurance
where he is daydreaming about being a rap star while cooking french fries
at a fast-food restaurant.
He adds, "It's a Saturday Night Live skit on myself. Maybe it'll
land me some good roles in Hollywood!"
