(Burbank, CA) - The CW's "Beauty and The Geek" ranked second in the hour against all competition among adults 18-34 (2.4/7) and women 18-34 (3.0/8), behind only Fox, according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007

With monster gains across the board, "Beauty and The Geek" matched this cycle's best ratings at 8:00 p.m. among women 18-34 (3.0/8), tying the first hour of its premiere.

"Beauty and The Geek" scored impressive week-to-week growth in all categories, gaining 41% in adults 18-34, 50% in women 18-34, 36% in adults 18-49 (1.9/5), 47% in women 18-49 (2.2/5) and 23% in viewers (3.8mil).
