Teri Hatcher Rubbishes Hurtful Surgery Rumors  2/8/07

Actress Teri Hatcher has rubbished reports she has had plastic surgery and uses Botox to preserve her youthful looks, branding the rumors "hurtful".

The Desperate Housewives star, 42, is so worried about false facts circulating the internet, she scours the web herself to ensure she isn't the last to know what people are saying about her.

She says, "I don't use Botox or Restylane and I've never had any surgery, no matter what you've read.

"That's the one downside to fame - on any one day you can find loads of hideously mean things said about you online.

"(My friend) keeps threatening to put these computer child locks on my computer so I can't torture myself. It hurts, you know?"
