VH1 Classic and VH1 Radio to Air Live Press Conference by the Police on
Monday, February 12 at 2:00 PM/ET; Seminal 80s Band Expected to Announce
Summer Reunion Tour and Perform Live

NEW YORK, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- VH1 Classic will broadcast the live
press conference with The Police from The Whisky A Go-Go in Los Angeles
this Monday, February 12 beginning at 2:00 PM/ET. VH1 Radio Network will
simulcast the VH1 Classic telecast of the news conference. Members
including Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers are scheduled to
announce details on their long-rumored summer reunion tour. VH1 Classic
will air the entire one-hour news conference which will also feature the
band's exclusive live rehearsal.
The Police, best known for hits including "Roxanne,"
"Every Breath You Take," "Message in a Bottle" and
"King of Pain" are scheduled to reunite at the 49th Annual
Grammy Awards for their first live performance since their induction in
the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
