Jim Carrey Overjoyed by Girlfriend's Tattoo Fetish  2/12/07

Jim Carrey is considering getting more tattoos - after discovering girlfriend Jenny McCarthy has an extreme body art fetish.

The role of Fingerling, the actor's alter-ego in new thriller Number 23, called for Carrey to be heavily tattooed - with the star growing quite fond of his fake ink, especially when he realized his partner found it arousing.

He explains, "Jenny liked it. It's amazing what a tattoo does for a girl.

Girls love tattoos, man."

Carrey already has one tattoo, which he was thrilled to have on display.

He adds, "I wanted to approach it right, so I came up to Joel and said, `I know I'm doing this scene with the shirt off and I have this real tattoo and my make-up artist and I are used to covering it up, so if you won't let me use it that's totally cool, we'll just use it for something else.'

"I took my shirt off and he went, `I love it, it's in the film!'"
