Jennifer Love Hewitt is happy being a "goofy and silly" star - but wishes audiences would stop judging her as just movie eye candy.

The Ghost Whisperer actress insists she constantly turns down offers to appear scantily clad, even though people expect her to bare all because of her image.

She says, "I got lots of those (offers to take off her clothes). But I can't.

It's just not me.

"I feel like there's still a world full of people out there who think there's not much more to me than the girl who can wear tiny tops. So if I had actually gone and done those things (shedding the tiny top) to try to prove something, where would I be?

"I want to be a dork! It's fun to be goofy and silly."
