Kevin Federline in Court Over Britney Spears Kids  2/22/07

Kevin Federline is expected in court later today (22FEB07) to press ahead with a custody dispute over his children with troubled pop star Britney Spears.

Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini reveals Federline and his lawyer are scheduled to appear at a Los Angeles courthouse for an emergency hearing, but refuses to divulge details of the meeting.

Parachini says, "Our best information is he will be here; she (Spears) won't.

But anything is possible."

The former couple have two sons together, five-month-old Jayden James and 17-month-old Sean Preston.

Federline filed papers seeking spousal support and sole custody of the children after Spears announced the end of their two-year marriage last November (06). A temporary court order issued earlier this month (01FEB07) granted the pair joint custody until the end of February.
