Antonella Barba Appears to Still be on American Idol 6  2/28/07

Despite the recent controversy over racy photos spreading like wildfire over the internet, American Idol contestant Antonella Barba appeared on Tuesdays episode of the show.  The show featured the top ten male contestants performing but as per usual custom the remaining female contestants attend the event to cheer on their counterparts.  Antonella was seated prominently in the front row with her peers.  No mention was made during the show about the photos.

Her best friend and fellow "Idol" auditioner, Amanda Coluccio, told the Star Ledger newspaper that the first photos which appeared are in fact that of her friend.  These included a shot of Barba naked, covered with rose petals, taken for a calendar she made for her boyfriend of several years.

She has been quite adamant that the more recent photos which are much more explicit are not of Barba and must be someone else.

Antonella is scheduled to appear tonight with the other nine ladies on American Idol.
