Anna Nicole Smith's Mother Tries to Cash In  2/4/08

Anna Nicole Smith's estranged mother Virgie Arthur is attempting to cash in on the death of her grandson Daniel, by offering footage and pictures of her grieving at his grave.

Emails sent from a picture agency representing Arthur to TV show Entertainment Tonight offer TV bosses the chance to shoot her laying flowers at the Bahamas memorial of Daniel, 20, who died in September 2006.

One correspondence, printed in the New York Post, reads, "She'll go to the Bahamas if you want. She would like to visit the grave, and it would make pretty emotive pics of her doing so."

An insider tells the newspaper, "She started hustling right after her grandson died."

The pair was estranged for years before Anna Nicole's death from a drug overdose last year (07) over claims Arthur mistreated her as a child, and allowed her to be sexually abused.
