Dad to Move in With Britney Spears  2/7/08

Britney Spears' father is determined to make sure his daughter is safe and sane after her release from hospital on Wednesday (06Feb08) - by moving in with her.

Jamie Spears, who was granted control of the troubled star's financial and legal affairs after she was committed to the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles last week (31Jan08), plans to become the singer's new full-time companion.

Insiders claim Jamie is far from happy that his daughter has been released from hospital, just three days after doctors told the family they'd be keeping Spears for 14 days to carry out further psychiatric tests on her.

A source tells U.S. publication Life & Style, "The doctors decided that as long as she's taking her medication - which she has been doing - Britney is no longer a threat (to herself).

"Jamie begged the doctors to keep her in longer. He was very disappointed with the decision.

"So Jamie decided to move into the house with her and look after her. And that's good for now, because Britney wants her daddy."
