Actress Reese Witherspoon hopes her kids don't get special treatment at
school, because disappointment is character building.
The actress hates the idea of eight-year-old Ava and Deacon, four,
being protected from the realities of life in a trendy school that refuses
to pick winners and losers.
The Walk The Line star says, "That's one of the most formative
experiences. I wouldn't want my children to miss out on any of that
teasing and bullying.
"It kind of makes you who you are - when you don't make it onto
the soccer team. It drives me crazy when everyone wins the award.
"I remember the two weeks of crying because I didn't make the
team. It makes me interesting."
