Kate
Moss Lowers Neighborhood Crime
2/13/08
Kate Moss has delighted her new neighbors in London - because crime
rates in the area have fallen since the supermodel moved in.
The star recently bought a $16 million mansion in St. John's Wood,
London and according to a local newspaper the constant presence of
paparazzi photographers outside has acted as a major deterrent to
criminals.
The Camden New Journal has published figures showing crime rates have
dropped sharply, with neighbors crediting Moss for the decrease.
One resident tells the paper, "With her security cameras and all
the photographers out in the street, it (crime) has stopped
altogether."
It is a turn around for Moss who angered her neighbors with a raucous
party last month (Jan08), prompting several calls to police over the noise
from a karaoke session which continued into the early hours of the
morning.
