Jim Carrey & Jenny McCarthy Dismiss Pregnancy Report  2/14/08

Comedian Jim Carrey and his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy have denied a report claiming they're expecting their first child together.

McCarthy's TV presenter friend Chelsey Handler made an impromptu announcement during her U.S. talk show on Tuesday (12Feb08).

The broadcaster told her audience: "And by the way, Jim, Jenny wanted me to tell you - she's pregnant."

But Carrey and McCarthy insist their friend got it wrong.

A spokesperson for McCarthy says, "She is not pregnant."

Carrey has a 20-year-old daughter named Jane from his first marriage to actress Melissa Womer, while McCarthy has an autistic five-year-old son, Evan, with her ex-husband director John Asher.
