Kirsten Dunst Denies Substance Abuse Caused Split With Jake Gyllenhaal  2/17/08

Kirsten Dunst's representatives have blasted accusations the actress' split with actor Jake Gyllenhaal was caused by her alleged substance abuse.

The 25-year-old was reportedly admitted to Cirque Lodge after a week of partying at last month's (Jan08) Sundance Film Festival - but family sources close to the Spider Man star insist it was her wild ways that caused the couple's three-year relationship to end in 2005.

A source tells American magazine Us Weekly, "Jake was turned off by all the partying."
