Avril Lavigne's Mansion Price Drop  2/27/08

Pop star Avril Lavigne has been forced to drop the price of her Californian home by $1.2 million - after it failed to sell for its original asking price.

The Mullholland Estates, Beverly Hills mansion was put on the property market for $7 million, and attracted three potential buyers.

But the buyers are reported to have pulled out of the deal, leaving the 6,894 square foot property unsold.

And Lavigne has now dropped the asking price of her former home with husband Derek Whibley to #5.8 million in an attempt to attract new buyers.
