American Pie star Shannon Elizabeth celebrated the New Year in style after becoming the first big winner at Las Vegas casino Caesars Palace's new poker room.

The actress beat celebrities like Jennifer Tilly and Lance Bass to win more than $54,000 at the table before hosting nightclub Tangerine Lounge's New Year's Eve (31DEC05) party.

Elizabeth then rang in the New Year with DJ Grand Master Flash, who was celebrating a birthday.
