MAC FACES AN INTERNATIONAL CRISIS WITH NORTH KOREA -- WITH POTENTIALLY
CATASTROPHIC CONSEQUENCES -- IN THE FIRST OF A SPECIAL TWO-PART STORY ARC
OF ABC'S "COMMANDER IN CHIEF"
"Sub Enchanted Evening" - Mac must deal with a crisis of
international proportions - with potentially devastating consequences -
when a U.S. submarine in a covert operation off the coast of North Korea
runs into trouble. Meanwhile, Mac considers running for election in the
next presidential race, with Dickie McDonald advising what her campaign
strategy should be, and her family -- minus Rebecca -- supportive of the
decision. And Jayne Murray, in her new role of lobbyist, finds herself
questioning what her future holds, on the first of a special two-part
story arc of "Commander In Chief," TUESDAY, JANUARY 10
(9:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
"Commander In Chief" stars Geena Davis as Mackenzie Allen,
Donald Sutherland as Nathan Templeton, Harry Lennix as Jim Gardner, Kyle
Secor as Rod Calloway, Ever Carradine as Kelly Ludlow, Caitlin Wachs as
Rebecca Calloway, Matt Lanter as Horace Calloway, Jasmine Anthony as Amy
Calloway and Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Richard "Dickie" McDonald.
Guest cast TBD.
The Story for "Sub Enchanted Evening" was written by Steven
Bochco, with Teleplay by Joel Fields & Tom Szentgyorgyi. The episode
was directed by Jesse Bochco.
"Commander In Chief" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P),
ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish
subtitles via secondary closed captioning.
