MELINDA HELPS A TROUBLED NEIGHBOR WHO IS BEING HAUNTED BY HIS FRIEND'S DEAD GRANDFATHER, ON "GHOST WHISPERER," FRIDAY, JAN. 6

"Friendly Neighborhood Ghost" -- Melinda's new neighbor is being haunted by his friend's dead grandfather who suspects that the neighbor killed his granddaughter, on GHOST WHISPERER, Friday, Jan. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. David Jones directed the episode from a script by Lois Johnson.

Jonathan Banks ("Wiseguy") guests stars as the grandfather.

Strange antics such as boarding up his windows cause Melinda and Jim to question the sanity of their new neighbor. It isn't until Melinda sees a ghost attached to the neighbor that she realizes he is not only being haunted, but that the ghost is trying to kill him. Upon confronting the ghost, Melinda learns that he is seeking revenge on her neighbor, but it isn't until she hears her neighbor's side of the story that the truth is revealed. Now Melinda must figure out a way to convince both the ghost and the neighbor that things are not as they seem.
