Howard Stern Denies Marriage Reports on First Satellite Show  1/10/06

Shock jock Howard Stern took the opportunity to deny reports he has married his long-term girlfriend Beth Ostrosky on the first live broadcast of his new radio show.

The controversial radio host kicked off a new era as a DJ on the Sirius satellite network earlier today (09JAN06), and decided the time was right to speak out about his personal life.

He said, "I am not married. It's a nice feeling that we get along great.

We're very happy and I don't want to f**k it up."

Stern's new on-air announcer is former Star Trek star George Takei.

Since Sirius announced Stern would be presenting the subscription only show, its audience has increased from 600,000 to 2.2 million.
