Kylie Minogue Still Battling Cancer  1/14/06

Pop princess Kylie Minogue is still receiving treatment for breast cancer despite reports she has been given the all-clear, according to her publicist.

The I Believe in You hit maker was diagnosed with the disease in May last year (05), and immediately underwent surgery to remove a lump before beginning an intensive chemotherapy course.

And while the 37-year-old is making a positive recovery from the disease, her treatment continues.

The singer's spokesman says, "Fortunately we are still able to say we have received no news of a reoccurrence of the cancer. However, at this point in time Kylie's treatments are continuing."

But despite her continuing battle, Minogue remains determined to reschedule the Australian leg of her Showgirl tour, which she was forced to cut short when she discovered the cancer.

The spokesman adds, "Kylie remains keen to return to work and in particular to reschedule the Showgirl tour."
