Gene Simmons Lands Reality Show 1/14/06

Kiss rocker Gene Simmons is set to become the new Ozzy Osbourne after opening up his home for a new reality TV show.

Simmons' new show Gene Simmons Family Jewels will air on American cable network A&E later this year (06) after he impressed TV bosses with a Biograpy special last year (05).

A&E boss Bob DeBitetto hopes the new show will fill the void left by hit reality series The Osbourne.

He says, "Gene lives in an interesting world, both unconventional and traditional at the same time."

The new show will revolve around Simmons, his longtime partner Shannon Tweed and their two kids.
