Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe Trying to Save Their Marriage  1/18/06

Oscar winner Hilary Swank is refusing to give up on her marriage, despite announcing she and husband Chad Lowe have split.

The Boys Don't Cry star secretly split from Lowe late last year (05) and spent Christmas and New Year alone before making news of the break-up official.

But she insists both she and Lowe are doing everything they can to save their 13-year marriage.

She says, "It's not over, we're not divorced. We've been together for over 13 years and there's a lot of love there...We're still married."

The couple is reportedly attending counseling sessions in an effort to reconcile.
