Golden Globe winner Reese Witherspoon was left red-faced following her triumph at the star-studded bash, when her husband Ryan Phillippe declared the couple would celebrate in bed.

The blonde actress picked up Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture - Musical Or Comedy for her role in Walk The Line.

At the InStyle/Warner Bros after-party, Phillippe silenced rumours the couple's marriage was in trouble by declaring his love for his award-winning wife.

He said, "Our life is perfect - it really can't get better.

"(How will we celebrate at home?). Hot and heavy lovemaking."
