Air Force One is Held Hostage on the Next Commander in Chief  1/18/06

WHILE ON AN OFFICIAL TRIP TO CALIFORNIA, AIR FORCE ONE IS HELD HOSTAGE, ON ABC'S "COMMANDER IN CHIEF"

"Wind Beneath My Wing" - Templeton accompanies Mac on Air Force One for a trip out West for the dedication of former President Bridges Presidential Library. While on the ground in California, Air Force One is held hostage by a man who demands to speak directly with the President or he will blow up the plane. 

Meanwhile, Kate watches the kids while Mac and Rod are out of town, and realizes she may have opened a Pandora's Box by allowing Horace and Rebecca to have friends over to the White House for a party, on "Commander In Chief," TUESDAY, JANUARY 24 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Commander In Chief" stars Geena Davis as Mackenzie Allen, Donald Sutherland as Nathan Templeton, Harry Lennix as Jim Gardner, Kyle Secor as Rod Calloway, Ever Carradine as Kelly Ludlow, Caitlin Wachs as Rebecca Calloway, Matt Lanter as Horace Calloway, Jasmine Anthony as Amy Calloway, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Richard "Dickie" McDonald.

Guest cast TBD.

The Story for "Wind Beneath My Wing" was written by Steven Bochco, with Teleplay by Steven A. Cohen & Stuart Stevens. The episode was directed by Greg Yaitanes.

"Commander In Chief" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning.
