BURBANK, Calif. - January 24, 2006- In an interview with "Access
Hollywood's" Shaun Robinson, "Desperate Housewives" creator
Marc Cherry reveals his dream guest star. The interview airs on

When asked about a possible guest star he would like to see on Wisteria
Lane for a couple episodes, Cherry reveals, "My dream is to get
someone like Carol Burnett on the show." Cherry adds that he has
"talked to Carol's people" and that they are trying to work
something out. Cherry stresses the fact that he does not want Burnett to
play an expected role and would "want her to be kind of malignant,
kind of evil, to make her go away from her normal persona."
The "Desperate Housewives" mastermind added, "I think
she is up for it. I just think it's about us finding the right part for
her at this point."
"Access Hollywood" is produced by NBC and distributed by NBC
Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Rob K Silverstein is the
executive producer.
